In France, Gigaset Pro is banking on full IP and interoperability for 2017

Gigaset Pro, the business communication solutions provider, is basing its 2017 commercial development strategy on full IP and is consequently refocusing on its core business for the French market.

After the first wave of migration from classic telephone systems to VoIP, the process is picking up pace with the rapid development of unified and collaborative communications tools from the world of IT. This convergence fits perfectly with the new forms of business usage. The announcement of the shutdown in the medium term of the French public switched telephone network (PSTN) will also boost the growth of unified communication solutions from 2017 onwards. “We have decided to channel all of our efforts and investment into the growing cloud business market and more generally into Open SIP, whether hosted or local. This will take the form of recruiting new staff for the French  subsidiary, bolstering our R&D in order to expand our offer and increase our technical bandwidth so as to forge new technological partnerships across all the channels,” said Julien Marguerite, Gigaset Pro’s European sales director.
